"Final" is based on my felt burden of inherited traumas and behaviors. With the red sting, the hands are similar to that of the figures above, it is seen climbing the hands close to absorbing them. However, one portion is not covered yet. This represents the difficult choice of deciding between the known and following others because you are like them or “cut from the same cloth (string).” This image is from the POV of the viewer inviting them into the image. I chose a disorienting background with varied perspectives, intended to provoke an unsettling feeling. One is unsure if they are falling or floating. Red was chosen because red is the color of love, but it is also the color of war.
