Once completely silent, I brought in custom sounds to reflect a Mexico untouched by modern noise. The music pays homage to my Mexican roots. I imagined what it might have been like to grow up in this Mexico, instead of in the States. I imagined my grandparents' Mexico and catching a glimpse of what life might have been like—a fleeting nostalgia of a time I never knew.
